After Hours at The Pointe Ball is one of Birmingham's most elegant and fun parties of the year - certainly one you don't want to miss! Dance the night away and enjoy an open bar, a performance by the Alabama Ballet and fabulous desserts by Kathy G & Co. All proceeds benefit Alabama Ballet's education and outreach programs.

Caffeine Fix

One of my New Years Resolutions is to quit drinking sodas, so I expect coffee will soon become a more integral part of my life. Luckily, Primavera Coffee Roasters, inarguably the best bean provider in Birmingham, will be hosting free tastings every Saturday at 2 p.m. at their Cahaba Heights location.

The Birmingham News wrote a special column about coffee in Birmingham, with much focus on Primavera—you can read it HERE . Primavera Coffee Roasters use a 15 kilo, gas-fired roaster, making their coffee in smaller, quality batches—resulting in a fantastic cup of Joe.
